Are Luster Premium White products enamel safe?

Yes. Each of our products has undergone all required testing to ensure that they will not harm your enamel.

Will Luster Premium White products work on dental restoration and braces?

No. Although our products are safe for use on and around dental work, they will only whiten natural teeth. If you wish to whiten your teeth while wearing braces, we recommend you speak to your dentist first.

Are Luster Premium White products gluten free?

Yes.

Do Luster Premium White products contain soy?

No.

At what age can I use Luster Premium White products?

We recommend our products for use by individuals over the age of 12. If you would like to use one of our products on a child younger than 12, please consult a dentist first.

Pro Light FAQ & Troubleshooting

My light does not turn on or beep. What should I do?

First, check to see if your batteries are installed correctly. You can reference the diagram on the inside of your light if you're unsure of the correct way to install the batteries. If they are installed correctly and the light is still not working, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones. If this does not work, please contact customer service so we can make things right!

How do I install the batteries?

Remove the cap at the bottom of the Pro Light by sliding the tab to “open.” Hold the Pro Light upside down with the blue light facing you. Follow the diagram inside to install the 4 Alkaline AAA batteries that were included in the package. Insert the batteries from left to right, as shown in figure A. Replace the lid and slide the tab to “close.” The light should beep to let you know the batteries are installed correctly. Press the button to test the light, then press it again to turn it off.

What does it mean if my light does not turn on but it beeps?

The lightbulbs have burnt out. If your product is new, please contact us for a replacement at customerservice@lusterpremiumwhite.com. If your unit has been used for the duration of the treatment, it may have reached the end of its use life and a new unit should be purchased.

Do I need to do all of the applications at the same time?

No. You can apply the Luster Pro Light on your own schedule. Whether you apply 10-20 treatments in a single day or over the course of a full week is entirely up to you.

How can I avoid oral irritation when using the Luster Pro Light?

Luster is formulated to be gentle on your teeth and gums. Sometimes people confuse the tingling effect of mint with irritation. However, if you do experience irritation, it may be that you are sensitive to one of the ingredients such as peroxide. If the stain lifting serum touches your gums or lips, wipe it away immediately and rinse the area with water. We also recommend applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the gums and lips before each treatment. This will help to prevent the irritation that may be caused by the peroxide the serum contains. If you do experience irritation, stop using the product. Irritation should subside in 3 to 7 days.

How long should I wait to eat or drink after my Pro Light treatment?

At least 10 minutes after the completion of your last application.

How long will my results last?

The answer to this question depends on a number of personal factors, but, with good maintenance, users can typically expect their results to last at least a few months. For some users, results can last for a full year.

Satisfaction Guarantee: What if I'm not satisfied with my product or results?

If you are not satisfied with your Luster Premium White purchase after using the product as directed, we will replace with a different product of your choice, of equal or lesser value, limit one replacement per customer per household.  To do so, send your unused portion to: Crystal Customer Experience Team, 1301 Courtesy Road, Louisville CO 80027 along with a note telling us why you were not satisfied. Make sure your full name, address, and email and/or phone number are provided in your replacement request and that they are easily legible. We will contact you once the product is received to help you select a replacement product from our website.

If you are requesting a refund, these will take 6-8 weeks for processing. Refunds must be post marked within 30 days of original purchase date and be purchased through an authorized retailer, thecrystal.com or our storefront on Amazon. Return the unused portion along with the original and dated cash receipt with the purchase price circled, along with a note telling us why you are not satisfied. Make sure your full name, address, and email and/or phone number are provided in your note. Please know that products purchased on eBay or unauthorized Amazon retailers will not be accepted. Please send your refund request to the same address as above. Postage and other related costs of returning the product to us are your responsibility.  Refunds will not include sales tax or shipping costs paid to authorized retailers and we cannot accept returns of products that are empty, have been purchased on sale or have been discontinued. Limit 1 refund per household.
